The Future of Learning

Revolution abounds. The energy industry is in the throes of three revolutions: lower product prices; the pending impact of government regulation to reduce hydrocarbon emissions; the army of experience that has left the industry as a result of the recent downturn. But the energy industry is not alone. Revolution has taken place in the world of education as well; driven by the mass movement of manufacturing industries to the developing world and the enormous facility that technology has brought to education delivery. The energy industry of the future will be leaner and fitter than the one we know so well. The companies that succeed in the new world will be increasingly cost conscious but recognise that they differentiate themselves through the skills of their people. The world of education is well placed to provide cost-effective training delivered precisely when and where it is needed.
