GPA Europe September 2020 Newsletter
Virtual Event Series 2020 - 2021
Registration for our Virtual Event Series is now open! We are delivering high quality presentations directly to you, our members, for free in the comfort of your home or office. We will be kick starting our monthly Virtual Series with a Panel Discussion on Thursday 24 September.
90 minutes in the company of some of the industry’s most influential decision makers.
After a brief opening statement from each of the panel members, the floor will be open to questions from the audience on "What will COVID-19 mean for our industry now and in the next 18 months?"
Panellists will be communicated soon.
Young Professional Training
The Young Professional Training sessions are designed for people who have recently joined or are thinking of joining the energy industries. These sessions are intended to help in understanding how your technical expertise can be applied within our industry. The first session will focus on "Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage".
All Virtual sessions will be approximately 90 minutes, starting at 11:30am.
AGM and Technical Meeting
We have made the difficult decision to hold our AGM and Technical Meeting virtually in 2020. With how the COVID-19 situation has been over the past few months, we cannot be sure we could hold a physical AGM securely and safely for our members.
We will still be bringing you our usual AGM alongside two high quality papers.

"The Directors of CDE Projects Ltd are pleased to announce that Hydrocarbon Processing has shortlisted Conceptual Design Emulation - CDE - for its prestigious Modeling Award at this year's ceremony to be held at the Houstonian on the 1st October. CDE is a unique interactive, multi-discipline engineering program that predicts the outcome of a design starting from a set of stream data, knowledge of the process flow sheet, the project site criteria and owner's practices and policies, and enables the evaluation of changes during the life of the project."
