This paper discusses the operating experience of 2 commercial reclaimers that have been designed using the new operating conditions. Plant data is provided showing the results of operations. Economics of the installations and their benefit to unit operations is also be discussed.
A discussion of the BHEEU formation is included along with lab data generated to assist in the design of the reclaimer. A third unit is currently being designed for installation. Further development work is expected to provide improvements in size requirements based on rate of reversal data and optimum operating conditions.
