Marine CNG – The Evolution of New Natural Gas Technology

Ten years on, marine CNG is entering the final stages of commercialization with the first project anticipated on line in 2010. Several of the technology proponents have now conquered the technical issues, receiving approvals from the Classification Societies and accelerating the technology by better defining the niche application.  What were the challenges and lessons learned in implementing a new gas transportation technology?
