GPA Europe December 2022 Newsletter
Thank you from GPA Europe
A big thank you to all delegates and speakers who attended our Annual Conference 2022, and of course to our wonderful hosts, TechnipEnergies. By working together, learning from each other and investing in the right areas we can meet the energy demands of the future without compromising the present.
We had three-days of high-quality technical papers, providing thought provoking discussions. Our AGM followed with Gary Bowerbank presenting an overview of 2022. A special thank you from all of us at GPA Europe to Gary Bowerbank and his past two years as chairperson of GPA Europe. As Gary hands over the baton, we say a warm welcome to Myrian Schenk as our next Chairperson and Adriano Gentilucci as Vice Chairperson.
Stay involved with us in 2023, membership renewals for 2023 have all been sent out and we look forward to seeing you at one of our events this coming year.
With thanks to our Sponsors:

A fresh new look for GPA Europe
Our Annual Conference also saw the release of our rebrand with a new logo and colour scheme.
Our new logo represents the transition of our industry towards the new energy future and our commitment to support our members within the gas processing community during this time. Our logo symbolises our movement towards promoting a cleaner, greener, energy future. We have a key role to play in Europe as the future of energy is changing.
However, we want to be clear that our mission hasn’t changed, we are still here bringing the European gas processing industry together, but feel the fresh new logo resonates better with the focus areas of our members.

2023 will be our 40th Birthday and we will be celebrating at our Annual Conference at BASF SE in Germany and hope to see many of you there! We are finalising plans and will communicate these soon. |
Be part of our conferences promoting a new energy future and the transition of our industry towards that future. We are looking for stories about the development of technology and best practices affecting Natural Gas processing. As well as a look at Hydrogen, Biogas, Ammonia, Carbon Capture and Storage, and LNG amongst others, to inspire the gas processing community.
Do you have a story to tell? All we need is a 100-200-word abstract. Send your abstract - Title, Author to [email protected]
It will be reviewed by our Technical Committee and, if accepted, we can help you to develop it into a technical paper and presentation.
Each year we present an award at our AGM for the best paper. The Best Paper Award is selected by our conference attendees and is based on the feedback scores received.
The Aungier Award is for the best paper presented by one of our Young Professionals at our conferences. The winner is decided by our Technical Committee. Alongside the award, the winner will get £1,000!
Could this be you?
